A REVIEW ON DRUG-INDUCED ANAPHYLACTIC REACTION

. Abstract One of the most common causes of anaphylaxis is drug hypersensitivity, especially in adults and hospitalized patients. Other than anaphylactic triggers, drug-induced anaphylaxis (DIA) is linked to more severe outcomes, and medications are responsible for the majority of anaphylaxis-related deaths. The current understanding on the incidence, prevalence, medicines involved, mortality, and mortality risk factors for DIA is included in this review. Both anaphylaxis and DIA appear to be on the rise around the world. The most commonly reported DIA triggers include antibiotics and analgesics.
