Abstract

Raktapradar means heavy vaginal bleeding during or before or after menstrual periods.[1] In this bleeding disorder, the quality and quantity of menstrual blood is affected which will affect the reproductive health and general health of the woman. Various treatments are given in modern medicine and have not proved their definite efficacy, So lot of patients came with relapse of symptoms. Most of the hysterectomy are carried out due to menstrual abnormalities only. So, it was need to find out least invasive therapy with the help of herbal medicine. This case study was done to evaluate the efficacy of Sharapunkha mula churna with tandulodak on Raktapradar. Sharapunkha is easily available, cost effective, and safe drug.[2] Treatment was done for 3 months. It is observed that the drug is effective in the management of raktapradar.
