EVIDENCE-BASED CLASSICAL AND ETHANOMEDICINAL REVIEW ON HOLOPTELEA INTEGRIFOLIA (ROXB.) PLANCH. (CHIRABILVA)

. Abstract Holoptelea integrifolia (Roxb.) Planch. The Ulmaceae‟s circle of relatives is one of the Indian traditional ethnological herbs utilized by tribals for plenty of years. The numerous recovery benefits of Holpotelea integrifolia (Roxb.) Planch.(Chirabilva) has been said in Samhita, Nighantu. Chirabilva is one of the varieties of Karanj stated in Bhavprakash- Karanj, Latakaranj, and Putikaranj. Putikaranj is referred to as Chirabilva. It is named “Chirabilva” as it alleviates the Doshas. Putikaranj is referred to as Chirabilva. It is named “Chirabilva” as it alleviates the Doshas (undesirable natural components) very quickly. On literature assessment, Chirabilva has an extensive form of organic or biological activities in weight reduction, wound recovery, pores, and skin illnesses, rheumatoid arthritis, helminth contamination, antiviral, antibacterial via its Guna (basic properties), Rasa (taste), Virya (efficiency), and Vipaka (biotransformation after digestion).
