A REVIEW OF GANDHAKADI YOGA WITH REFERENCE TO ITS APPLICABILITY IN THALASSEMIA

. Abstract Gandhakadi Yoga is an Ayurvedic formulation primarily indicated for Apakva Loha Sevanajanya Vikara Prashamana (Iron overload) in Ayurvedic texts. The overall properties of the combination can be utilised for thalassemia. A conceptual study was done on the formulation along with its individual constituents and the matter hence obtained was presented in an organised form.
