Abstract

Ayurveda is science of life which deals with maintainance of health and treatment for the diseases that manifests in the human body. There has been a great change in drug dosage forms from the ancient to modern texts of Ayurveda to increase palability and also to help for the easy absorption of the drugs. Ghanavati is one such dosage form which can be administered in absolute dose when compared to the whole plant drug. Pashanbhedadi Ghanavati is one such preparation for Benign prostate hyperplasia which can be easily administered with proper dosage. This research is for preparation of Pashanbhedadi Ghanavati with standard operative procedures to potentiate active principles in it.
