TRIVIDHA BHODHYA SANGRAHA OF HRIDROGA

. Abstract Hridaya is the most important vital organ in the human body and comes under Shadanga, Marma Thraya, and Dasha Pranayathana.[1] Hridaya is a Sira Marma and on basis of prognosis, it is Sadhyo Prana Hara of Uro Marma so it should be well protected. Anything that hampers the heart's physiological functions presented with different pain or discomfort is called Hridroga. Hridroga classified into five type Vataja, Pittaja, Kaphaja, Sannipataja and Krimija.[2] The most predominant symptom complexes in Hridroga are Ruja and Shwasa attributing their similarities to coronary artery diseases. Here an attempt is made to gather information regarding Trividha Bodhya Sangraha of Hridroga and traces its relationship to cardiovascular diseases.
