Abstract

Paxlovid is an antiviral medication against Covid-19, the Corona virus infectious disease - 2019. It acts orally as a viral replication inhibitor. It targets a viral protease of SARS-Coronavirus-2 (CoV-2), called 3- Chymotrypsin-Like protease (3CLpro) which controls virus replication and was considered a major target for rational-based drug design.
