NANOSUSPENSION DRUG DELIVERY SYSTEM: AN APPROACH FOR ENHANCEMENT OF AQUEOUS SOLUBILITY OF DRUGS
Omkar N. Gurav*, Sayali H. Lokare and I. D. Gonjari
. Abstract The majority of new drug candidates nowadays that come from drug discovery programmes are poorly bioavailable because they are water insoluble. Nanosuspension is a drug delivery is known to improve solubility, dissolution and eventually bioavailability of the drugs. Nano refers to particles size range of 1–1000 nm. This review discusses the processes for creating pharmaceutical nanosuspension, including advantages and disadvantages, characterization of nanosuspension, and pharmaceutical applications for drug delivery. Keywords: Nanosuspension, Aqueous-solubility, Bioavalibility, Particle size. [Full Text Article] [Download Certificate] |
