Abstract

Vatarakta is an upsetting in addition communal metabolic illness rampant in current epoch. It’s a ‘Vatapradhana Tridoshaja Vata Vyadhi’ wherein Rakta is key Dushya. Vata is prime Dosha in Vatarakta, this disease called as Vatarakta when it is excessively aggravated with vitiated Rakta Dhatu. Vatarakta is clinically interrelated with gout. Gout is metabolic disorder arises due to sustain increased uric acid level in blood and deposition of monosodium urate crystals in joint. An open label and randomized control trial was conducted in 30 patients of clinically diagnosed Vatarakta.
