A REVIEW STUDY OF SROTAS

. Abstract Srotas is unique structure of our body and innumerable. Srotas play as a important role in Ayurveda. They are hollow, tubular and porous in nature which transports the essential nutritional elements for all the Dosha, Dhatus, Malas. The Srotas play an important role in to maintain the physiological and pathological pathway that carries all the components, element, nourishment, signals. Channels which carry the transformed dhathus to different destinations through the network to nourish the cell and tissues. Srotas are the channels or inner transport system of the body which is the site for the activities of other bodily elements like Dosha, Dhatus, Malas, Agni, etc. Among these some Srotas are micro and some are macro in structure. The influences of aetiological factors on Srotas can results pathological manifestations. Srotas are divided into two types Bahirmukhi and Antarmurkhi.
