THE ROLE OF DEHAPRAKRITI ON HEMATOLOGICAL PARAMETERS IN GRAVID UTERUS-AN OBSERVATIONAL STUDY

. Abstract Ayurveda is a branch of Medicine that emphasizes an individual’s total health and wellbeing, with its prime motto being “Swasthasya Swaasthya Rakshanam”. In order to achieve this goal, one must comprehend the normal physiology of the human body. Swastha is a state person who has a balanced state of Dosha, Dhatu and Mala, which are the fundamental components of the body. All these elements are intertwined and expressed through a peculiar aspect known as Prakriti. As a result, figuring out the Prakriti, reveals everything about a person. It has an impact on all the biochemical configurations, regardless of the stages of life. Pregnancy is the most fortunate period in a woman’s life and it is completely a natural process. During this period, females will experience a variety of physiological changes, most of which are easily expressed in blood. Dehaprakriti of 120 gravid women and observation of hematological parameters in different trimester and evaluation of relation between Dehaprakriti. There was significant variation between the groups in Hb%, MCH and platelet counts in all the trimesters, particularly higher range in Pittapradanprakriti group subjects. Hence concluded that, there is role of Dehaprakriti on hematological parameters in gravid condition. Keywords: Dehaprakriti; Gravid uterus; Hematological parameters.
