Abstract
Recently much attention has been given to the anti oxidant capacity of
natural products especially those present in the human diet and their by
products such as vegetables. The cruciferous vegetables are a good
source of natural anti oxidants. Radish is an important vegetable of
cruciferous family which is used world wide. Hence in the present
study the leaf of radish has been mainly focused and this review
systematically addresses and summarises the various phytochemicals
and pharmacological action of radish leaves.
