CONCEPTUAL STUDY OF BALYA KARMA W.R.T. CHRONIC NEUROLOGICAL DISORDERS

. Abstract It is estimated that there are globally 47.5 million people with dementia with 7.7 million new cases every year - Alzheimer's disease is the most common cause of dementia and may contribute to 60–70% of cases. According to Ayurved, neurological conditions are the outcome of Vata imbalances. In order to eradicate all diseases in an individual, ayurvedic therapies for neurological illnesses will work to correct this Vata imbalance and bring the Vata dosha into balance with the pita and kapha doshas. Balya karma is mainly advisable for Mansa Upachay. While Treating Patient having Ayurvedic approach, Mansagata vata, Asthi-majjagata Vata and Avrutta Vata are important aspect of the treatment. Ayurvedic treatment is all about prevention and cure of the diseases. Neurological disorders can be delayed with the help of Ayurvedic Dinacharya, Rasayan chikitsa.
