PROSPECTS OF SOIL-PLANT RELATIONS IN DIFFERENT LOCALITIES OF FOUR DISTRICTS OF VINDHYAN REGION FOR TEPHROSIA PURPUREA

Abstract For the growth of terrestrial plants soil is an important factor. Soil characters depends chiefly on the texture, mineral particles and organic matter and properties of soil influences the plant growth. The plants have adopted themselves according the soil characters. Mostly plants adapt themselves morphologically, anatomically, phonologically and ecologically to the availability of the water. Relations between plant and soils are chiefly determined by soil solutions which are immediate contact with root hairs. Present study show that soil plant relations of Tephrosia purpurea (L) pers is affected with different types of soil.
