In Ayurveda, all skin diseases are included in Kustharoga. There are two types of Kushtaroga, i.e Mahakushta and Kshudrakustha. Vicharchika is one of the Kshudrakushtha occuring mainly due to Imbalance of Tridosha. According to modern science, Vicharchika has similar clinical presentation as Eczema.
