Abstract

Nowadays many drug delivery routes are seen but in ancient medical system nasal route were the preferential route. It was considered as a promising route of administration of drugs showing problematic absorption via other routes of administration. In this review we are highlighting all the aspects of nasal delivery and available marketed products. Beside, this we have explained that how this noninvasive route is appealing and also of great interest for novel drug delivery. As Novel drug delivery is accelerating and getting focused and for many brain targeting drugs we consider nasal route as the best one. Owing to some limitations this route still gives hope for the treatment of many neurological disorders that need immediate attention.
