FORMULATION AND IN VITRO EVALUATION OF EFFERVESCENT GRANULES OF PROPRANOLOL HYDROCHLORIDE

Abstract

The present research has been undertaken with the aim to Formulate and Evaluate the Effervescent granules of Propranolol Hydrochloride. The objective of the present investigation is to prepare the effervescent granules of different formulations and are evaluated for different parameters. The effervescent granules of four different formulations such as F1, F2, F3 and F4, were prepared by Non Aqueous method using different concentration of excipients including sodium bicarbonate. The prepared formulations were evaluated for different parameters like Flow ability parameters and effervescent time. After evaluating all the parameters, it has been found that the Effervescence time for the F3 showed good results.
