A REVIEW ON: MEDICINAL PROPERTIES AND THERAPEUTICS USES OF AN ACMELLA ULIGINOSA (PIPULKA) PLANT

. Abstract An Acmella uliginosa is a perennial herbaceous plant which has a various medicinal and pharmacological activities like antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, anti-rheumatic, antifungal, antiseptic, anti- obesity, immune stimulator, antipyretic, antioxidant, Antispasmodic, to treat sore throat, to treat stomachache and mouth ulcer and also used to relieve toothache. It is a flowering plant grown as an ornamental or medicinal plant belongs to Daisy family Asteraceae and popularly known as ‘subang Nenek’ or ‘Butang Baju siti fatimah’.
