Abstract

Colonic Ulcer is a chronic disease in which immune system cause inflammations & Ulcers. In oral colon specific drug delivery system Colon has a large amount of lymphoma tissue Colon Specific drug delivery has gained importance not just for the delivery of the drug for treatment of local disease associated with Colon. Different approaches are used to treat colonic Ulcer prodrug formulation, PH Sensitivity, microbial degradation, osmotic pressure to formulate different dosage form like tablet capsule, microencapsulation micro beads, liposome for Colon targeting.
