NIDANAATMAK STUDY OF AMLAPITTA IN THE CURRENT SCENARIO

. Abstract Ayurveda has recognizes the importance of optimal dietary planing and its variations according the season, Agni, Prakriti. If these are not followed, the Doshas will be out of balance, which is leading to the development of disease. For a long time, communicable (contagious) diseases were a major cause of diseases worldwide. However, the trend is now changing in the direction of an increasing prevalence of chronic diseases with causative factors mainly related to diet and lifestyle. Amlapitta, a gastrointestinal tract (GIT) disorder, has acquired a majority of the share with causative factors such as diet and habits, stress, spicy food, greasy food, etc. Amlapitta is one of the most common diseases in society. The Pitta Dosha is excessively increased and tries to exit the body either through the oral or rectal route and presents the symptoms of Amlapitta. Improvement of the digestive system is the main key to treating Amlapitta. This article is based on the Nidanaatmak study of Amlapitta in the current scenario.
