Abstract

STRESS MANAGEMENT/MENTAL HEALTH IN HEALTHY LIFE IN KEEPING WITH AYURVEDA

Abstract

The role of stress in the etiology of many illnesses is well recognized in Ayurveda Science and modern medicine. In Ayurveda Sahasa Cause the Ojakhsaya (immunity loss) which increases the body's susceptibility to various illnesses. In modern times, life is full of desires, requirements, workloads, deadlines, frustrations, irritation, quarrels, etc. that lead to the generation of stress. Stress can be physical, physiological, or psychological. Out of these stresses, psychological stress requires special attention as it can endanger a person's physical and mental health, personal safety, or well-being. Intolerance with others, marital conflicts, fights, torture, ill-treatment, and self-doubt are various situations associated with emotions, fears, interpersonal relationships, social or behavioral events, and thus create psychological stress. A small amount of stress works better and helps motivate you to do your best. However, beyond certain limits, stress begins to seriously disrupt health, mood, productivity, relationships and quality of life.
