Abstract

According to Ayurveda body is made up of Dosha, Dhatu and Mala. Sukra is the Seventh Dhatu of the body which is responsible for Harsha, Bala and Formation of Garbha. For the formation of normal garbha the sukra should be normal. Ayurveda mentioned properties/guna of Sudha Sukra and also Sukra Dosha. According to modern science Semen is an organic bodily fluid created to contain Spermatozoa. Various Physio-chemical properties of Human Semen are assessed by means of Semen Analysis for determination of Male Infertility. It is the necessity of today’s era to find correlation bridge between these Sudha Sukra Guna and Dosha with Physio-chemical properties of Human Semen to give better treatment in the male infertility cases. This article emphasis on the comparative aspects of Clinico-anatomical aspects of Sudha Sukra Guna with respect to Semen Analysis.
