. Abstract Millets are described in Ayurveda as Trindhanya, Kudhanya and Ksudradhanya. These are small seeded grass. They are grassy grains. They are used for human food and fodder. They are used in preventing and curing health issues. They are rich source of fibre and minerals. In present time millets are being included in primary diet as they are rich in micronutrients.
