Abstract

Clitorea ternatea, belonging to Fabaceae family is endowed with beautiful flowers of different colours. In the present study a comparision between white and blue flowered plant was conducted using brine shrimp assay and chromatographic analysis. Methanolic extract of leaves of the two was prepared and all the comparisons were made. Although genus and species were similar yet some differences were found in majority of the parameters. Results are discussed.
