Abstract

Madhumeha is one of the four kinds of Vatika Prameha portrayed by section of over the top amount of urine having quality like Madhu (Polyurea and Glycosuria) along side pleasantness of entire body (Hyperglycemia). While depicting the pathogenesis of Madhumeha the Ayurvedic texts have clarified the contribution of Ama (oxidative free extremists), Agni (stomach related fire), Meda (fat tissue) and Ojas(insusceptibility), which assumes an indispensable part in the turn of events and movement of Madhumeha and its complication. Aim and Objective 1. To dscribe the detail of literary review of madhumeha based on ayurveda samhitas. 2. To correlate the Madhumeha with Type 2 diabetes mallitus.
