A CASE STUDY ON AYURVEDIC MANAGEMENT OF ATTENTION DEFICIT HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER

. Abstract Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity. It affects approximately 7.2% of children worldwide. The conventional treatment for ADHD includes stimulant medications, behavioral therapy, and lifestyle changes. However, many parents and healthcare professionals are turning to alternative and complementary therapies, such as Ayurveda, for the treatment of ADHD. This case study examines the effectiveness of an Ayurvedic intervention in a 7-year-old child with ADHD.
