ROLE OF PANCHKARMA IN GLOBAL HEALTH CARE

. Abstract Due to rapid Civilization, deforestation, resources extraction causing global warming. It affects the unpredictable weather pattern, loss of wildlife and biodiversity. It directly affects the life style of human being. The non communicable diseases emerge from inappropriate relationship of people with their environment. Developing countries like India is predicted to have the most number of life style related patients in next ten years in the entire world. There is a definite needs of an alternate approach to understand the psychosomatic impact on the human body and emerging the life style diseases. Ayurveda provides a well organised system of traditional health care in view of both preventive and curative spheres of chikitsa. In unhealthy lifestyle disorders, Ayurveda procure swastha by following Dincharya, Rutucharya, Rasayana prayoga and Panchkarma therapies. Panchkarma provide purification of the body at two level i.e gross level and cellular level. It is a collective term used for shodhana and shamana chikitsa. Where shodhana by Vaman, Virechan, Basti, Nasya, Raktamoshan are not only used to cleanses the body, to eliminate toxins but also rejuvenating the microchannel’s of the body and bring harmony of bio-humans (Trividha sharir dosha and dwividh manas dosha). Such approach is not available in conventional science of today era but, Ayurveda have the answer for this new emerging health issues cause by unhealthy modernization.
