Abstract
RESEARCH ON ANTIFUNGAL ACTIVITY OF ALLICIN AND FORMULATION OF ANTIFUNGAL CREAM (ALLIUM SATIVUM)

. Abstract Garlic is the medicinal plant used traditionally for treating different kinds of disease and disorder. Allicin is the main chemical constituents of garlic which shows antifungal anti protozoa, antibacterial activity. The extract of garlic is used to prepare antifungal cream with combination of lemongrass oil. The cream was formulated and evaluated on the basis of various parameters. The formulated cream found to be stable and shows good results. The cream does not causes any kind of serious side effects.
