CRITICAL ANALYSIS OF NIDANA-PANCHAK OF AMALPITTA IN REFERENCE TO DIET & LIFE STYLE AND AN AYURVEDIC MANAGEMENT - A REVIEW STUDY

Abstract

Due to urbanisation and change of life style people are inviting many health problems. Amalpitta being one among them. Prevalence of GERD is about 20-30% worldwide. Manasika Bhavas like stress plays an important role in maintaining the health on the other hand an abnormal psychology in term of anger, anxiety, stress etc. would affect the physiology of digestion either there would be lesser secretion of the digestive juice or secreted at improper line and sometimes it may be secreted in excessive quality. Today due to modern life style and food habits and food habits most of the population are suffering from a common disease called as amalpitta. All these conditions lead to indigestion which ultimately gives rise of Amalpitta.
