UNDERSTANDING PREGNANCY RELATED ANORECTAL DISEASES CAUSES, SYMPTOMS, AND TREATMENT OPTIONS. - A REVIEW ARTICLE

Abstract

During pregnancy, women undergo numerous physical and hormonal changes that can impact their overall health, including their gastrointestinal system. While pregnancy-related anal diseases are relatively rare, they can occur due to these physiological changes. Here, we will discuss two common anal conditions that can be associated with pregnancy hemorrhoids and anal fissures. Gojnic et al. in 2005 stated that approximately 85% of pregnant women in their third trimester may report hemorrhoid’s. In India, piles are known to affect nearly 40 million people, but the true occurrence in pregnant women is unknown due to cultural, personal and socio-economic reasons. Hence its needed to find more treatment option to ride on Pregnancy Related Anal diseases. Ayurveda and Yoga Shashtra Have scope to find new Management technique. Prevention is key when it comes to pregnancyrelated anal diseases. Maintaining a healthy and balanced diet, staying hydrated, and avoiding constipation can help reduce the risk of developing these conditions. Regular exercise and gentle cleansing of the anal area promote good anal hygiene.
