CRITICAL REVIEW OF AHARPARINAMKAR BHAV (DIGESTIVE FACTOR) IN MODERN PERSPECTIVE WITH CHANGING MODERN LIFESTYLE

. Abstract In today’s era lifestyle and dietary changes increasing the risk of lifestyle disorder or metabolic syndrome like Diabetes mellitus, Hypertension, Obesity, Hypo/Hyperthyroid, dyslipidemia and risk of Cardiac disease, Stroke prevalence of these diseases has reached alarming proportion in the past few decades. In Ayurveda, ailment associated to digestion are the root cause of all the diseases, in present era people are less conscious about their dietary habits which is a root cause of digestive system/metabolic disorders. In Ayurveda tridosha (Vata, Pitta and Kapha), Saptdhatu(rasadi) and mal (Mutra, Purish and Sweda) are considered as the root of Ayurveda, samyavastha (balanced state) of these three describes a healthy body and its prakupita (unbalanced state) reflects disease, the samyavastha of dosh, dhatu and mala depends upon ahaar which comes under the trayaupstambha. For healthy life proper ahaar, nindra, and bhramcharya are essential. Ahaar has the prime importance in it. healthy ahaar is an crucial factor for the formation of our body Ahaarparinamakar bhava have been described by acharya Charak, which is having specific role in digestion.
