A THOROUGH ANALYSIS OF THE MOST IMPORTANT MEDICINAL HERBS IMPACTING SPERM AND TESTOSTERONE PRODUCTION

. Abstract 15% of couples have infertility, which is defined as the inability to get pregnant after a year of sexual activity without the aid of contraception. The male reproductive system is impacted by a variety of conditions that lead to infertility, including genitourinary tract infections, endocrine problems, immunological issues, and drugrelated damage. Due to men's anxiety over infertility, it is crucial to focus on medicinal plants that boost male fertility. The purpose of this study was to assess the medicinal herbs that have an impact on male sperm and testosterone production. Male factor infertility frequently occurs from testicular conditions that produce insufficient sperm, both in terms of number and quality. The literature has documented both positive and negative effects of botanical products, particularly herbal remedies, on testicular functioning and male fertility. The initial line of defence against free radicals generated by oxidative stress (OS) is comprised of antioxidants. They reduce insulin resistance, total cholesterol, fat storage, and cancer growth by removing reactive oxygen stress (ROS).
