Abstract

Diseases in which mandala is raised all over the body along with swelling, inflammation and redness is called as Sheetapitta. Sheetapitta, Udarda, Kotha is often used interchangeably but there is a slight difference. All though, it is not a life-threatening disease, but its reoccurring and irritating symptoms affects the quality of life. In Ayurveda, Shodhan and Shaman and Bahi parimarjan Chikitsa provides a solution to this condition.
