Ritura Sharma*, Pramod Kumar Mishra, Brahmanand Sharma and Priyanka Inaniya

Although fasting, whether for religious or non-religious reasons, alters the body in numerous physiological, biochemical, metabolic, and spiritual ways, there is no conclusive evidence to support its healthful advantages. In addition, nothing is known regarding the frequency of therapeutic fasting use, despite the popularity and potential promise of this preventive strategy. This study was conducted to explore whether fasting could contribute to wellness. The benefits of fasting for human health are beneficial. Fasting improves metabolic health by lowering oxidative stress and inflammation. The use of fasting therapy may help treat and prevent chronic illnesses like cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and neurological problems. It might be argued that in the near future, fasting will be recommended by doctors as an additional kind of treatment. Keywords: . [Full Text Article] [Download Certificate] |
