Abstract

Vaitarana Vasti is one of the most effective and cost-effective Vasti that may be used to treat a variety of ailments. Vaitarana Vasti is not described in Brihatrayee. Text works like as Chakradutta, Vrindhamadhava, Vangasenasamhita, and others provide allusions to Vaitarana Vasti. In clinical practice, there is some difference in estimating the number of substances, the Drava Dravya, and so on. Extensive studies are needed to standardize the quantity of ingredients, the selection of ingredients in various disease states, and to determine the mode of action of Vaitarana Vasti in various diseases. This article presents with theoretical overview and systemic effect of Vaitarana basti.
