ROLE OF PANCHAKARMA IN AYURVEDA

. Abstract Ayurveda is a system of medicine practiced in ancient India. Ayurvedic concepts and beliefs are based on logical reasoning and experimental observation. Ayurveda not only mentioned the possibilities of preventing diseases, but also described the preventive measures to maintain health. Condition. The therapeutic measures of Ayurveda include not only the use of medicines but also other approaches such as e.g. Panchakarma. Panchakarma is Shodhana Chikitsa and is recognized as an essential therapy to treat various ailments. Panchakarma offers various therapeutic benefits such as: detoxifying, improving circulation, relieving spasms and pain.
