MANAGEMENT OF ANORECTAL PROBLEMS ACCORDING TO SHALYA TANTRA

Abstract The ancient medical science of Ayurveda placed a strong focus on surgical treatments for the treatment of various ailments, leading to the creation of the Shalya Tantra branch of surgery. This esteemed section of Ayurveda focuses on surgical and para-surgical procedures to preserve optimal health. Numerous pathological disorders, including as cysts, abscesses, hemorrhoids, bladder stones, urine retention, wounds, and anorectal issues, can be treated with the beliefs and practices of Shalya tantra. Diseases cannot be cured by this branch of Ayurveda that is thought to be helpful for other treatments. Shalya Tantra's principal methods, such as Shastra Karma, Guda Roga Chikitsa, Vruna Chikitsa, Anushastragara, and Post-Fracture Rehabilitation, offer therapeutic benefits for a variety of health issues.
