RESPECT FOR THE BODY AND BODY DONATION - A GUIDE FOR GOOD PRACTICE

. Abstract A significant gift that death gives many of us is the act of giving humanity a second chance at life. Body donation means donating one’s body for medical study and Education after death. Anatomy research and cadaveric dissection go hand in hand. Nonetheless, cadavers are in short supply everywhere in the world. Worldwide, the most popular and significant source of cadavers is body donation. A brief overview of the history of body donation is provided in this article. It provides information on who can donate, who can take the body, and the steps involved in body donation in India. It talks about the attitudes of body donors and what keeps people from donating their bodies. It goes over some crucial strategies for resolving the global and Indian shortage of bodies.
