. Abstract Sanjeevani Vati is a classical Ayurvedic formulation known for its broad spectrum therapeutic efficacy. This polyherbal formulation mentioned in ancient text like Sharangdhara Samhita, Yoga Ratnakara, Bharat Bhaishjaya Ratnakara, is primarily used for treating Jwara (fever), Aamvata (rheumatoid arthritis) and digestive disorders. It exhibits potent Deepana (digestive stimulant), Pachana (carminative) and Rasayana (rejuvenative) properties. The unique combination of its herbal components contributes to its immunomodulatory, hepatoprotective and adaptogenic effects making it a crucial remedy in traditional and integrative medicine. Modern pharmacological studies highlights its anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antioxidant potential. Research suggests that its bioactive compounds enhance digestive function, modulate the immune response and protect against oxidative stress. Additionally, Sanjeevani Vati has shown promising result in the management of metabolic disorders, febrile conditions and inflammatory disease. This review aims to explore the traditional references, pharmacological actions, clinical applications of Sanjeevani Vati. By integrating classical Ayurvedic wisdom with contemporary research finding, this study highlights its relevance in modern healthcare and the scope for further clinical validation.
