AN EPIDEMIOLOGY STUDY ON PREVALENCE AND ASSOCIATED FACTOR OF PRE HYPERTENSION AND HYPERTENSION IN ADULT RURAL POPULATION

. Abstract Background and objective: This study explores the assessment of Prevalence of pre-hypertension and hypertension in adult rural areas of erode district, with the aim of increasing awareness, identify lifestyle, and assessing intervention effectiveness. Methodology: A comprehensive six month observational study involve 200 patients ages from 20 ->40 was rigorously conducted. Data collection include a validated questionnaire, high risk identification, and the implementation of educational interventions. Conclusion: The prevalence of pre hypertension of rural adult people in erode district is dramatically high and it was associated with many risk factors. Comprehensive life style modification are needed to be taken to decrease the incidence of pre hypertension and to prevent prehypertension people from hypertension.
