A CASE STUDY ON SLEEP PARALYSIS

. Abstract This case study is on an individual who has experienced sleep paralysis,[1] a condition in which you are temporarily paralyzed,[2] right before falling asleep or waking up. His condition may have occurred due to combination of various factors such as stress, insomnia[3] or disturbed circadian rhythm[4] and etc. According to his Inference on this condition if you have experienced it once then you quite are likely to experience it again and to avoid it you have to avoid doing things that might trigger it for you, For example in our subjects case sleeping in prone position prevents falling into state of sleep paralysis almost 100% of time as trying to sleep in supine position might have been one of his triggers. Apart from avoiding trigger conditions you can do various lifestyle changes such as having a proper sleep schedule, i.e. to sleep and wake up within a certain fixed duration of time, doing exercise regularly, Having a balanced diet and etc thing that you can do to improve the quality of your sleep.
