A SINGLE CASE STUDY IN THE MANAGEMENT OF KARNANADA W.S.R. TO TINNITUS– A CASE REPORT

. Abstract Karnanada, in the context of Tinnitus, refers to the sound perception associated with the auditory phenomenon of ringing, buzzing or humming in the ears. Tinnitus is a condition affecting many individuals globally, characterized by subjective auditory experiences without external sound stimuli. It is a growing and distressing condition, which can significantly impact emotions, cognition and physical well-being. A notable rise in Tinnitus prevalence is observed with gadgets emerging as a key contributing factor. The strain placed on the auditory system by prolonged, high-volume exposure to headphones, earbuds and other devices can lead to Tinnitus. This abstract seeks to capture the significance of understanding Karnanada, focusing on its implications, diagnostic approaches and management methodologies through Ayurvedic remedies like Karnapoorana, Nasya and Rasayana therapies.
