Abstract

CHARACTERIZATION OF DAIRY WASTE WATER AND ITS EFFECTS ON ENVIRONMENT

Abstract

The present work was carried to study dairy waste water and its effects on environment. Samples were collected from dairy industry located at Aurangabad city. Physico-chemical parameters like Total solids, Color, Chlorides ,Volatile solids, Suspended solids, Phosphates, pH, Hardnes, BOD, COD, Oil and Grease of collected samples were evaluated and variation in characteristics of collected dairy waste water was studied.
