REVIEW PAPER OF THYROID DISEASES AND IT’S HERBAL MEDICATIONS

Abstract Millions of individuals worldwide suffer from thyroid illness, which is a serious health risk. With possible advantages including fewer side effects and better patient outcomes, herbal drugs present a promising substitute for traditional therapies. The goal of this review is to present a thorough analysis of herbal treatments for thyroid conditions, stressing both their possible advantages and disadvantages. We go over the pharmacological properties of many herbs, such as their immunomodulatory, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties. These herbal remedies have the ability to lessen the intensity of thyroid symptoms and aid in recovery, according to our investigation. The effectiveness and safety of herbs including ashwagandha, turmeric, ginger, and bugleweed in treating thyroid disorders have not yet been thoroughly investigated, but they have showed promise.
