Abstract

KF-AL2O3 MEDIATED MICROWAVE ASSISTED ONE POT SYNTHESIS OF BENZOPYRANYLPYRIMIDINES

Abstract

One pot three component condensation reaction between flavanone, aromatic aldehydes and guanidine hydrochloride in presence of KFAl2O3 under microwave irradiation affords benzopyranylpyrimidine in good yield. The synthesized benzopyranylpyrimidine derivatives were characterized by FT-IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR spectroscopic techniques and elemental analysis.
