Abstract The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly influenced women’s reproductive health through endocrine, inflammatory, vascular, and psychosocial pathways. SARS-CoV-2 interacts with ACE2 receptors expressed in ovarian tissue, endometrium, and placenta, raising concerns about its potential impact on fertility. This article provides an in-depth review of menstrual irregularities, ovarian reserve, sexual dysfunction, assisted reproductive outcomes, and long COVID effects.
