RECENT ADVANCES IN LIPID METABOLISM: MECHANISMS AND THERAPEUTIC IMPLICATIONS
Dr. Sahukar*, Mr. Juber Khan, Mr. Samsad Khan, Mr. Rahul Khan
Abstract Lipid metabolism encompasses the biochemical pathways responsible for the synthesis, breakdown, and interconversion of lipids in the body. Dysregulation of these pathways is implicated in various metabolic disorders, including obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and cancer. This review examines the current understanding of lipid metabolic pathways, their regulatory mechanisms, and their role in disease pathogenesis. Additionally, it discusses emerging therapeutic strategies targeting lipid metabolism to mitigate disease progression. Keywords: Lipid metabolism, fatty acids, cholesterol, obesity, diabetes, therapeutic interventions. [Full Text Article] [Download Certificate] |
