Abstract

STUDIES ON PHYTOCHEMICAL AND FTIR ANALYSIS OF Anisomeles malabarica [LINN] LEAVES

Abstract

Anisomeles malabarica plant leaves were tested for their FTIR spectroscopic studies revealed different characteristic peak values with various compounds in the leaf. The FTIR method was performed by spectrophotometer system, which was used to detect the characteristic peak values and their functional group of Amines, Ether, Monosubstituted, Alkenes and nitro compounds. Leaf extracts of Anisomeles malabarica were evaluated for phytochemical screening to identify the active compounds.
