MARINE SPONGE- GENUS SPIRASTRELLA- A REVIEW

Abstract Marine sponges are potential sources of many unique metabolites, which includes antiangiogeneic, cytotoxic, antimicrobial and anticancer compounds. The purpose of this article is to present structurally reviewed pharmacological activities in the different species of Spirastrella, isolation of active constituents from various species of Spirastrella and its contribution as bioactive compounds.
