Abstract

Agadatantra deals with the study of sarpa (snake), keeta (insect), lutaa (spider), musaka (rat) etc Jaangam (animate) bite poison, Shthavara (inanimate) combined poisoning diagnosis and its treatment also. Chaturvishanti Vishopkrama are procedures of poison treatment. The data obtained from this review can be used to evaluate the potentiality of the treatment of poison in Ayurveda.
